Who can use the RISE Theatre Directory?

Creating a RISE profile is for all theater makers at every level of their career. In order to appear in the search results each user should have at least one credit before making a profile. Anyone hoping to use the directory to search for candidates can create a profile without credits.

Is there a fee associated with the Directory?

The directory is a tool that is free for all profile makers.

Who/what kind of job candidates are listed in the directory? 

The directory serves all theater professionals who have roles backstage, behind the scenes, or in support of theater making. Currently the directory has 120+ job categories, including but not limited to; Choreography, Costume Design, Direction, Hair/Make-up, Lighting, Management, Music, Producing, Props, Scenic/Carpentry, Sound, and Writing.

Do you have to live in a specific location to use the directory?

No! The directory is a national database connecting candidates across the ecosystem and regions with potential employers or collaborators.

What if I can’t find my position or skills in the directory?

The goal of the RISE Theatre Directory is that it evolves depending on the needs of our industry, so we encourage any and all feedback. Please send any feedback or questions to support@risetheatre.org
